A new report by 60 Minutes has found that more than 300 advertisements released by Donald Trump’s 2020 presidential campaign have been removed by Google and its associated video platform YouTube, proving once again that Google CEO Sundar Pichai lied to Congress about his company’s ongoing censorship agenda.
Reporters from CBS say they were unable to identify precisely why Google is removing Trump’s ads, other than to discriminate against the president and his efforts to win reelection in 2020. As is usually the case, Google and YouTube provided no information whatsoever to explain how or why Trump’s ads in any way violated its terms of service, suggesting that it’s merely a malicious vendetta.
“We found very little transparency in the transparency report,” 60 Minutes concluded with regard to its findings.
60 Minutes decided to investigate the situation after YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki revealed during a recent interview that her company decided to pull some of Trump’s ads for reasons she claimed were outlined in the aforementioned transparency report. But these supposed reasons were nowhere to be found in said report, raising more questions about the anti-free speech policies of Google and YouTube.
In the aftermath of the 2016 presidential election, Google and YouTube joined Facebook in keeping a searchable archive of political ads that ran on their platforms. 60 Minutes reviewed these archives and found that more than 300 video ads from the Trump campaign were removed for unnamed “violations” that 60 Minutes has yet to identify.
“Was it a copyright violation?” CBS News asked in its report. “A lie or extreme inaccuracy? Faulty grammar? Bad punctuation? It’s unclear. The ads determined to be offending are not available to be screened.”

Upon being further pressed about YouTube’s alleged biases against Trump and conservatives at large, Wojcicki told CBS reporters that there “are lots of very successful conservative creators on YouTube,” adding that YouTube’s “systems, our algorithms, they don’t have any concept of understanding what’s a Democrat, what’s a Republican.”
“They don’t have any concept of political bias built into them in any way,” Wojcicki went on to state. “And we do hear this criticism from all sides. We also have people who come from more liberal backgrounds who complain about discrimination. And so I think that no matter who you are, we are trying to enforce our policies in a consistent way for everybody.”
The only problem is that evidence does exist to show that Google and YouTube are manually interfering with the content and advertising that comes across their respective platforms, which means that Wojcicki, just like Pichai, is a bald-faced liar.
The Trump campaign is fully aware of this, by the way. It just hasn’t yet attempted to actually do anything about it other than to complain, which is anomalous considering that Trump currently occupies the White House.
Why hasn’t the Trump administration taken any action against not just Google and YouTube but the entire gamut of corrupt tech giants that are erasing our First Amendment rights in real-time? Why hasn’t Attorney General William Barr invoked the RICO Act to address the many other acts of censorship that Big Tech is imposing against vaccine truth advocates, as another example?
“During this same 60 minute interview, I watched Leslie Stahl question YouTube CEO, Leslie Wojcicki about the Trump campaign ad showing Biden at a CFR meeting bragging about getting Ukraine’s prosecutor fired or Biden would see to it that Ukraine would not receive over 1 billion in loan guarantees,” wrote one Breitbart News commenter.
“Stahl claimed the ad ‘just isn’t true.’ Leslie Stahl flat out lied to the American people.”
